Blog Tour Perfect Crime by Helen Fields

Today I am delighted to be taking part on the blog tour for “Perfect Crime” by Helen Fields

My Review
I was a little apprehensive about doing this blog tour as it is book five in the DI Luc Callanach & DCI Ava Turner series and I wondered would I be at a disadvantage not having read the previous four.
Oh but no, I need not have worried in the slightest. At no stage did I ever feel I had missed out.
I took to the main characters Ava and Luc immediately. I love their closeness and the lovely friendship they have even though it is now a boss and worker type relationship.
So much so that I can’t wait to go back and read the other books in the series.
Don’t you just want their relationship to be more though? It is a real will they won’t they type of story from the author.
Loved the serial killer storyline. It’s dark, creepy and incredibly murky which keeps the hairs on the back of your neck standing.
If you are looking for a great series to get your teeth into, don’t go past this one…

Thank you kindly to author Helen Fields and her publishers Avon Books UK for my copy of this book. Much appreciated…

Book Blurb
Your darkest moment is your most vulnerable…
Stephen Berry is about to jump off a bridge until a suicide prevention counsellor stops him. A week later, Stephen is dead. Found at the bottom of a cliff, DI Luc Callanach and DCI Ava Turner are drafted in to investigate whether he jumped or whether he was pushed…
As they dig deeper, more would-be suicides roll in: a woman found dead in a bath; a man violently electrocuted. But these are carefully curated deaths – nothing like the impulsive suicide attempts they’ve been made out to be.
Little do Callanach and Turner know how close their perpetrator is as, across Edinburgh, a violent and psychopathic killer gains more confidence with every life he takes…
